1H NMR (400 MHz, Chloroform-d [7.26 ppm], ppm) δ = 7.66–7.63 (m, 4H, CHAr), 7.54–7.51 (m, 4H, CHAr), 6.68–6.66 (m, 4H, CHAr), 6.61 (dd, J = 7.7 Hz, J = 1.8 Hz, 2H, CHAr), 3.46 (ddt, J = 13.4 Hz, J = 8.7 Hz, J = 4.5 Hz, J = 4.5 Hz, 2H, PCP-CH2), 3.05 (ddd, J = 13.7 Hz, J = 9.3 Hz, J = 5.3 Hz, 2H, PCP-CH2), 2.92–2.77 (m, 4H, PCP-CH2), 0.35 (s, 18H, TMS-CH3). Impurities: 1.56 ppm (water), 0.07 ppm (silicon grease), 7% of the mono-substituted product across the spectrum. The yield was adjusted accordingly.
